Lok Vikas Samiti is a non governmental, non profit organization working for the social and economics development of vulnerable and disadvantaged communities, The organization was established with the objective of contributing to inclusive and sustainable development, particularly among tribal communities, economically weaker families, women, youth, child and other marginalized groups. 

Lok Vikas Samiti is Registered under the Rajasthan Societies Registration Act 1958 by Registrar, Udaipur. The society was Registered on 07 Nov. 1987 with Registration No. 81/Udaipur/1987-88 in addition the Samiti has also been registered under the trust Act 1959-42 with the department of DevsthanVibhag, Government of Rajasthan, bearing Registration No. 207/Trust/Dev/Udaipur/2026 dated 03/08/2026. 

The organization is also registered with the income tax department and has obtained applicable statutory Registration including PAN 12A and 80G. The Samiti is also registered under TAN as applicable. 

Basic Objectives

• To promote the social, educational and economic development of tribal communities through awareness, capacity building, access to entitlements and community participation. 
• To strengthen women leadership, decision making, economic independence, right and participation infamily and community development. 
• To develop the skills, leadership, entrepreneurship, employability and social responsibility of rural and tribal youth and create opportunities for their carrier and livelihood development. 
• To improve access to quality education, life skills, vocational training and knowledge among children, adolescents, youths and disadvantaged communities. 
• To promote sustainable livelihood, skill development, entrepreneurship, self employment and income-generating opportunities for poor and vulnerable families. 
• To create awareness and facilitate access to health, nutrition, sanitation, hygiene and preventive health care services, particularly among vulnerable communities. 
• To promote awareness regarding constitutional rights, government seliemes, social security and legal entitlement and support communities in accessing available services. 
• To strength community based institution and encourage local people especially women and youth to participate in planning, decision making and implementation of development initiatives. 
• To prime environment protection, natural resource conservation, climate resilient livelihoods and sustainable development practices in rural and tribal areas. 
• To work in collaboration with government departments, educational institutions, CSR, Civil Society, Researcher, local institutions, and other stake holders for effective and sustainable community development.

Geographical Area of Operation - The Board working area of LokVikasSamiti is the entire state of Rajasthan at present the organization is primarily focusing its interventions in the Udaipur Division with specially attentation to rural, tribal, and economically disadvantaged communities.
